VPII Product Management, Agentic Product Development Lifecycle (AI)

Location: Fort Mill/Charlotte, United States; other locations: New York, NY and Austin, TX

Base salary: $156,354–$260,590 per year

What you will do

• Define the enterprise strategy and roadmap for agentic workflows across discovery, research, design, planning, development, testing, release, and product improvement.
• Redesign cross-functional workflows and establish where agents act independently, collaborate with people, or require human approval.
• Lead capabilities connecting customer evidence, product requirements, designs, code, tests, and production feedback.
• Run end-to-end workflow initiatives, resolve failures, and establish scalable practices for adoption across teams.
• Evaluate internal and third-party solutions and make build-versus-buy recommendations based on effectiveness, integration, security, and cost.
• Establish evaluation, permissions, review, traceability, recovery, adoption, and performance measurement practices while leading product managers and training teams.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of relevant experience in product management or product development leadership.
• Experience improving how cross-functional teams discover, build, release, and operate products, with measurable results.
• Experience implementing AI agents or automation in working processes and improving those capabilities after launch.
• Experience with customer research, experimentation, software delivery, and the tools connecting these activities.
• Experience leading teams, driving adoption, and resolving competing priorities across product, design, engineering, business, and control functions.
• Core competencies include enterprise product strategy and roadmap leadership, agent autonomy and evaluation, human review, technical tradeoff judgment, cross-functional influence, change leadership, and adoption.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
• Experience making build-versus-buy decisions for AI, automation, or product-development platforms.
• Experience establishing governance for agent permissions, traceability, recovery, and human approval.
