Senior Solution Consultant, Workforce West (Identity Verification)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; on-site five days per week unless otherwise specified. Regular travel across the western territory is required.

Salary: $181,000–$230,000 USD annual base salary, excluding bonus, sales incentives, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Act as the product and technical expert for Workforce Identity partner engagements across the western territory.
• Design identity verification into hiring, screening, reference, and onboarding workflows, including scalable B2B2B integrations.
• Lead RFx responses, proofs of concept, technical demonstrations, solution design, configuration, and customer presentations.
• Own rollout architecture and presales handoffs, documenting integrations, reporting, webhook expectations, and provisioning responsibilities.
• Diagnose complex customer and integration issues, support escalations, and coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and other field teams.
• Mentor Solution Consultants, create reusable technical content, and present at marketing events, trade shows, and user conferences.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience performing Senior Solution Consultant responsibilities in a customer-facing role such as consulting, technical support, or solution engineering.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with REST APIs.
• Proficiency with authorization, authentication, and federation protocols, including OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Bearer Token Authentication.
• Confident technical presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills with senior stakeholders.
• Expertise in at least one of IAM platforms and concepts, identity verification, web development, mobile development, or backend development using Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-63-3 / 800-63-4 and ability to design to IAL2 / AAL2.
• Knowledge of the complete SDLC, modern software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and related technologies.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of the hirify.global platform and solutions, with curiosity and a positive, can-do attitude.

Nice to have

• Experience with HR technology, background screening, applicant tracking, talent intelligence, or staffing platforms in presales, consulting, or delivery.
• Experience with B2B2B integrations, downstream employer activation, partner reporting, webhooks, dashboard provisioning, phased rollouts, and sandbox-to-production promotion.
• Familiarity with hiring-workflow fraud, including synthetic and stolen identities, AI-generated applicants, and infiltration of remote roles.
• Experience enabling field teams on products they sell but do not specialize in, and awareness of employment-screening regulations including FCRA.
• Based in Mountain View, California, or elsewhere in the western United States, with regular travel across the western territory.
