SVP, IT Operations

What you will do

• Manage and monitor operational performance across hardware, software, data platforms, networks, cloud services, and related processes.
• Lead response to IT incidents, outages, and major incidents, including alerting, on-call rotations, triage, stakeholder communication, and resolution support.
• Manage a small IT Operations team and coordinate technical and business partners during service disruptions.
• Operate and maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, operational policies, system maintenance practices, and ITIL-based frameworks.
• Oversee service delivery, IT assets, vendors, service accounts, certificates, change management, auditability, and provider relationships.
• Track and report IT Operations KPIs and SLAs, address negative trends, and align technology operations with business objectives and mission-critical services.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Operations Leader with attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
• Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis.
• Thorough knowledge of networks, on-premises computing, in-house and vendor-developed software systems, and cloud computing.
• Technical proficiency in IT infrastructure, networks, and systems, including troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for managing a small team and engaging technical and business partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing tactical issues or initiatives.
• High problem-solving aptitude and expert knowledge of troubleshooting complex technical ecosystems.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or a related technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering, and/or 10+ years of IT Operations experience.
