IT Manager II

Location: Remote, United States; position associated with Portland, Oregon

Salary: $83,494–$139,002 annually, varying by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions

What you will do

• Manage the Internal Application Team’s daily operations, meetings, projects, priorities, deadlines, and service levels.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the technical team while building accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Provide hands-on technical support for internally developed on-premise applications and additional third-party applications.
• Remove operational roadblocks and maintain service quality through organizational standards.
• Evaluate, select, and implement modern technologies with measurable improvements.
• Work with minimal supervision toward department and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Management experience leading a technical team with operational responsibilities.
• Experience supporting .NET applications and other Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with modern server operating systems and application architecture.
• Experience implementing Windows Server best practices for performance and security.
• Experience successfully managing projects and meeting deadlines.
• PowerShell scripting knowledge.
• Knowledge of ITIL and SDLC and their application in systems administration.
• Strong problem-solving, technical and non-technical, verbal and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and adaptability skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced Windows Server management experience.
• Experience supporting custom applications built by the internal development team.
• Experience using a vulnerability management system.
