Delivery Manager (AI Transformation)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid flexibility with travel as required. Monday–Thursday are typically on-site or hybrid.

What you will do

• Design and operationalize Transformation Offices, including governance structures, performance tracking, and leadership cadence.
• Lead workstreams end-to-end, translating strategic ambitions into initiatives, milestones, KPIs, and measurable impact.
• Identify and deliver value levers across cost, productivity, procurement, working capital, and growth to improve EBITDA and financial performance.
• Redesign operating models, governance systems, and performance-management routines to embed sustained impact.
• Coach executives, enable client ownership, and build transformation capabilities across client organizations.
• Collaborate with McKinsey strategists, functional experts, and digital specialists to deliver business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, or a similar field, with a strong academic record.
• 5+ years of experience delivering complex transformation or performance-improvement programs, including operational excellence, AI transformation, digital transformation, procurement transformation, or HR organizational transformation, with measurable business and financial impact such as EBITDA uplift and enterprise-value enhancement.
• Experience independently leading workstreams or project modules from planning through execution and impact delivery, including running Transformation Offices.
• Experience managing and mentoring team members.
• Strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders and the ability to deliver in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Structured problem-solving, strong analytical skills, and strong communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to turn analysis into action.
• Functional experience with AI-related solutions, including analytics, automation, or AI-enabled tools such as Claude, Copilot 365, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar.
• Entrepreneurial, resilient, and proactive; able to thrive under pressure and ambiguity.
• Deep functional experience in one or more value-creation areas, such as operating-model redesign, working-capital optimization, procurement excellence, productivity improvement, or broader P&L transformation.
