What you will do

• Provide hands-on end-user support, hardware and software break/fix services, and Windows workstation and laptop deployment.
• Support Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory, Windows Server, endpoint protection, access controls, and data privacy practices.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Ethernet, wireless, Cisco IOS switching, Juniper environments, and general network connectivity.
• Support Webex Calling/VoIP, patch panels, structured cabling, fiber, RJ45 connections, and related physical infrastructure.
• Document configurations, troubleshooting procedures, equipment changes, and technical solutions while managing the IT service management/ticketing system.
• Work with Engineering, News, Production, Sales, vendors, and technical personnel on broadcast technology, installations, upgrades, maintenance, deployments, infrastructure projects, and critical outages.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on hardware troubleshooting, break/fix, Windows desktop, end-user support, and Microsoft Windows experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365/Office 365, networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Ethernet, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and on-premises Active Directory.
• Ability to troubleshoot methodically, prioritize multiple technical issues, research unfamiliar problems, learn new technologies, and work independently with vendors or technical resources.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and position equipment weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Approximately 3–5 years of hands-on IT support, systems support, network support, or related technical experience is preferred.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required; certifications, military technical experience, vocational training, or demonstrated professional IT experience may substitute.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Server+; Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, Windows, Endpoint Management, Intune, or Azure; or Cisco certifications/equivalent Cisco networking experience.
• Windows Server, Microsoft 365 administration, Webex Calling/cloud VoIP, Cisco IOS switching, Juniper networking, virtualization, server and storage hardware, and IT service management/ticketing experience.
• Familiarity with OBS Studio, vMix, television broadcasting, broadcast engineering, media production, newsroom technology, or 24/7 operational environments.
• Experience with broadcast automation, routing, storage, newsroom, editing, production, or related broadcast systems.
