Principal Systems Engineer III (Network)

Location: Pocatello, Idaho, United States; onsite work in the Pocatello office.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, test, certify, patch, and support network infrastructure within and between data centers, including switches, firewalls, load balancers, SDN, and private cloud dependencies.
• Build and maintain networking for bare-metal servers and virtual machines with LAN, WAN, VLAN, SDN, firewall, load balancer, and NSX configurations.
• Provision networking for servers and applications, monitor performance and availability, resolve failures and bottlenecks, and implement proactive redesigns or technology refreshes.
• Maintain information security, backup, redundancy, system management, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and reporting for data center network components.
• Write custom scripts to automate provisioning of addresses and VLANs through IaaS and improve system efficiency.
• Provide fourth-level support, liaise with vendors and IT personnel, document configurations and inventories, and train Government staff on the technology.

Requirements

• Current Top-Secret clearance with the capability to obtain SCI / CI-Poly.
• At least six years of experience.
• At least one of the following certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), DevNet Associate, or an equivalent network vendor associate-level certification.
• Experience with Application-Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Tetration, Multi-Site-Orchestrator (MSO), Network Assurance Engine (NAE), Network Services Orchestrator (NSO), and Nexus Insights.
