Azure Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or H-1B transfer candidates

Salary: $115,000–$165,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, provision, configure, and operate Azure cloud and enterprise infrastructure components using approved architecture patterns.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Implement security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, availability, and governance controls.
• Investigate incidents, capacity issues, vulnerabilities, and performance problems.
• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change records while collaborating across engineering and operations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations.
• Practical experience with Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.
• Hands-on knowledge of relevant cloud, operating-system, container, or automation technologies.
• Understanding of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability fundamentals.
• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues methodically.
• Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Additional hands-on depth in Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.
• Experience with cloud services, automation, and modern delivery practices relevant to the project.
• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the technology area.
