Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, United States

Salary: $190K–$240K per year, plus employee stock options

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that streamline build, testing, and deployment workflows for fast, safe releases.
• Own infrastructure-as-code practices with Terraform and manage cloud infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, databases, and third-party integrations.
• Scale infrastructure through autoscaling, capacity planning, resource optimization, and cost-efficiency initiatives as healthcare workloads grow.
• Build internal developer tools and self-service platforms that improve engineering velocity and reduce operational friction.
• Implement observability with metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerts; support incident response, on-call rotations, postmortems, and preventive measures.
• Embed security and compliance requirements into infrastructure and deployment processes while collaborating with engineering teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles building and maintaining production infrastructure.
• Deep familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Strong experience with Terraform.
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Strong automation mindset and a focus on solving manual-work problems.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with an interest in enabling other engineers.
