PeopleSoft Integration Consultant (PeopleSoft)

Location: 100% remote within the Continental United States

What you will do

• Design and develop PeopleSoft Integration Broker scenarios, including service operations, queues, routings, handlers, transformations, and hybrid integration components.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous REST and SOAP integrations with internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms.
• Configure WS-Security, OAuth2, certificate-based authentication, monitoring, notifications, retries, and resubmission workflows.
• Lead migrations from legacy point-to-point integrations to standardized Integration Broker patterns, including phased cutovers and backward-compatibility shims.
• Optimize high-volume integrations, maintain architecture and operational documentation, and provide hypercare, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, engineers, product, operations, and business stakeholders while mentoring junior and mid-level engineers through reviews and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of PeopleSoft development experience with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with WS-Security and OAuth2, plus strong SQL skills and knowledge of the PeopleSoft data model.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.
• Familiarity with OIC, MuleSoft, or Boomi is a strong plus.

Nice to have

• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Exposure to event-driven integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling for PeopleSoft.
• Strong understanding of API management concepts.
