PeopleSoft Technical Consultant

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop PeopleSoft customizations using Application Designer, including pages, components, records, fields, and PeopleCode.
• Build Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker services, File Layouts, SQR reports, BI Publisher reports, and nVision reports.
• Implement and maintain Approval Workflow Engine configurations and notifications.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis, translate requirements into clean technical designs, and partner with functional consultants and stakeholders.
• Lead unit testing, support functional and integration testing, resolve UAT and hypercare defects, and provide post-go-live incident support.
• Optimize SQL performance, document technical solutions, follow upgrade-safe customization standards, and mentor junior PeopleSoft developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of PeopleSoft technical development experience; the position description also specifies 6+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.
• Hands-on experience with SQR and BI Publisher, plus strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions data structures and experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.
• Working knowledge of Approval Workflow Engine, along with strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM/ERP integration scenarios.
• Exposure to Fluid UI development.
• Familiarity with Oracle DBA fundamentals.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud for PeopleSoft integrations.
