What you will do

• Install, maintain, configure, and document network equipment and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, security, and operational issues, including incidents, outages, changes, and coordinated maintenance.
• Design network architectures and customer-specific solutions based on requirements, industry practices, technology standards, and design goals.
• Develop and maintain Cisco ACI configuration plans for design, planning, implementation, and testing across multiple data centers.
• Create and present logical, physical, and process architecture designs to client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with storage, platform, application, and infrastructure engineers; support and coach other engineers through resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
• In-depth understanding of routing, switching, network monitoring, and network management.
• Experience working with Cisco Firepower and NextGen firewalls.
• Experience designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting network technologies and protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving network connectivity and security, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams.
• Experience analyzing network traffic with varied network tools to assess security events and rapidly identify and isolate issues during incidents and outages.
• Ability to research and identify innovative technologies that enhance existing networks.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph is required.
