Network Administrator (Senior-Level)

Location: Onsite at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, United States; non-remote. Relocation incentive available.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer, maintain, optimize, and secure enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations.
• Design, implement, and support routing, switching, wireless, and network security solutions using Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba technologies.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, network modernization, technology refresh, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Monitor network performance, analyze utilization, perform capacity planning, and support disaster recovery and continuity of operations.
• Maintain network architecture documentation, configuration baselines, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with systems administrators, cybersecurity personnel, engineers, and government stakeholders while mentoring network and IT support staff.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Eight or more years of experience supporting, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher, such as CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA-Junos | JN0-103).
• Extensive experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba networking equipment.
• Experience managing enterprise routing, switching, wireless, and network infrastructure technologies.
• Experience leading complex troubleshooting efforts and network modernization initiatives.
• A baseline certification must be obtained within six months of hire if not already held.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Service Management, or a related technical discipline.
• JNCIS-ENT Enterprise Routing & Switching Specialist certification or Microsoft certification supporting Windows 10, Windows 11, or Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administration.
• Experience supporting DoD environments, Army aviation, enterprise infrastructure, modernization initiatives, mission-critical systems, or high-visibility customers.
• Experience with knowledge management, process improvement, operational documentation, mentoring junior administrators, and leading technical initiatives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong organization, attention to detail, and prioritization abilities.
