Senior Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Remote, Newfoundland, Canada. Some travel is required, with a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

What you will do

• Lead a design team through the production of contract documents for ongoing construction projects.
• Manage contract administration, including coordination with contractors and architectural teams.
• Review shop drawings and RFIs, and create change notices.
• Conduct site and field reviews of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, medical gas, sprinkler, and standpipe systems.
• Lead diverse project teams and manage multiple clients while ensuring technical and financial project delivery.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience designing mechanical systems for commercial, institutional, and/or industrial buildings.
• University or college degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and lead diverse project teams with a strong record of technical and financial project delivery.
• Strong leadership, client service, project management, communication, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced working knowledge of provincial building codes, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards.
• Familiarity with Revit and working knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Nice to have

• Registration with provincial licensing bodies PEO and OACETT.
• Experience in healthcare.
