Director, Platform & AI Architecture

Location: Campbell, California — hybrid, 3 days per week in the office

Base salary: $235,043–$310,500 per year, plus eligibility for new-hire and annual merit-based RSU grants.

What you will do

• Develop and drive the platform architecture roadmap across Salesforce, NetSuite, billing, and customer operations.
• Deploy autonomous and semi-autonomous AI copilots for Sales, Support, Finance, and Operations.
• Replace costly third-party SaaS tools with internal AI-driven micro-applications where appropriate.
• Re-engineer business processes and establish canonical data architectures and golden-record standards.
• Modernize the SDLC with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Lead a blended engineering organization and report platform economics, SaaS savings, and automation ROI to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 12–15 years of relevant experience in enterprise application architecture, software engineering, or platform systems delivery.
• 4–7 years leading and scaling architectural and engineering teams across distributed or global environments.
• Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce, including Sales, Service, and CPQ, and NetSuite ERP.
• Production experience implementing AI harnesses, autonomous agent frameworks, and generative AI copilots.
• Experience analyzing software portfolios, building cost-effective internal alternatives, and optimizing cross-functional business processes.
• Fluency in event-driven integration patterns, application security, AI safety guardrails, and SOC 2, ISO, and GDPR compliance standards.
• Exceptional executive presence and ability to explain architectural trade-offs and automation ROI to leadership.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
