provides focused Agile software development and maintenance for CODIS, a mission-critical FBI application built with Microsoft .NET that supports DNA profile, crime-scene evidence, missing-person, and unidentified-remains identification.
What you will do
- Decompose functional requirements into epics, features, and user stories for a Scrum Team delivering CODIS enhancements.
- Define acceptance test criteria and support software testing, including test-script execution.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and improve Agile practices throughout iterative releases.
- Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, program-management, and subject-matter-expert teams to assess system changes and document end-user needs.
- Coordinate monthly and sprint reporting and communication.
- Maintain moderately complex documentation for CDRL requirements, participate in Quality Management, and implement practices that improve team efficiency and technical execution.
Requirements
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance required.
- 3+ years of experience analyzing and documenting complex software applications.
- Experience maintaining a team backlog for an Agile/Scrum team.
- Experience collaborating with customer representatives, program management, and quality managers to define and document requirements in small increments.
- Experience decomposing features into user stories and writing acceptance criteria that define system functionality.
- Ability to multitask, solve problems, deliver on time consistently, and provide customer service.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including translating complex technical concepts into plain English.
- Experience with Jira.
