Engineering Manager, Reporting Horizons (AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; office-centric hybrid schedule with standard in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Wednesdays may be worked from home; Friday remote work depends on the work and partner teams.

Base salary: 34,000–39,000 PLN gross per month, subject to taxes and deductions. The package may also include equity, benefits, and other compensation components.

What you will do

• Build a new engineering team in Warsaw, hire engineers, and support their career growth.
• Guide architecture across the stack and coach engineers through complex technical decisions.
• Establish planning and delivery practices that enable predictable, high-quality releases.
• Lead development of agentic dashboards and reporting platform capabilities that can be adopted across Asana product lines.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and product teams to define priorities and deliver intuitive capabilities.
• Partner with the New York Reporting Foundations team on roadmap, ownership boundaries, and technical direction.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams that build scalable web applications.
• Deep understanding of software architecture and experience coaching engineers through complex technical tradeoffs.
• Experience establishing delivery practices that help teams ship predictably.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with interest in building AI-native products.
• Proven collaboration with Product Managers and Designers to balance technical health with user velocity.
• Clear communication, supportive leadership, trust-building, and the ability to give direct feedback in a collaborative environment.
