Senior Infrastructure Engineer (AWS/GCP)

Location: Remote within the United States; Atlanta, GA preferred.

Salary: $160,000–$175,000 per year.

hirify.global is a sports technology company operating a Daily Fantasy Sports platform covering major sports leagues and esports.

What you will do

• Design and architect scalable, resilient, secure cloud-native platforms on AWS and GCP.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Crossplane.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog; participate in on-call support and incident response.
• Provide self-service platforms, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, enforce security practices, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep technical experience with AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, and/or Crossplane.
• Strong proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, plus experience with CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or another programming or scripting language.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice to have

• Cloud networking experience with VPCs, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with ArgoWorkflows and ArgoCD.
• Experience building and managing internal developer platforms.
• Familiarity with Istio, Linkerd, SQL and NoSQL databases, or relevant AWS and Kubernetes certifications.
