Staff Product Manager (Healthcare Data)

What you will do

• Set the product strategy and roadmap for the longitudinal patient record, balancing completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and investment.
• Define clinically grounded representations for care events, patients, providers, facilities, medications, conditions, labs, and procedures.
• Build a unified record of hospitalizations, emergency visits, discharge transitions, and post-discharge care from multiple healthcare data sources.
• Own patient matching, deduplication, normalization, and clinical terminology mapping across claims, EHRs, labs, ADT feeds, pharmacy data, prior authorizations, and clinical documents.
• Drive adoption of the canonical record across providers, quality measurement, risk adjustment, payment integrity, and revenue operations.
• Lead the Longitudinal Patient Record pod across engineering, clinical, and data-consumer teams, using AI for document classification and record linkage where appropriate.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of a data platform, data model, or shared data product used by multiple teams.
• Experience setting product strategy for platforms with many internal consumers and making trade-offs across competing needs.
• Deep working knowledge of healthcare data, including institutional and professional claims, C-CDA clinical documents, FHIR resources, ADT feeds, and lab data, including their coverage and gaps.
• Experience defining canonical or master data for patients, providers, facilities, encounters, and clinical concepts, and driving adoption by other teams.
• Hands-on data investigation experience, including chart review, discrepancy analysis, and testing definitions against real patient records before release.
• Ability to use AI to accelerate data work and validate its output.
• Experience leading cross-functional delivery through influence across engineering, clinical, and operations teams without direct management authority.
• Evidence that a data improvement owned by the candidate contributed to a business or clinical result, such as identifying a missed clinical outcome, reducing duplicated care, saving physician time, or producing similar impact.
