Senior Salesforce Engineer (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable enterprise Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and declarative capabilities.
• Own complex Salesforce solutions from technical design through deployment and production support.
• Build and maintain secure integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, event-driven patterns, and middleware.
• Collaborate with product, business, architecture, and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
• Lead code and technical design reviews, mentor less-experienced developers, and establish consistent engineering practices.
• Use Git-based source control and Salesforce DevOps/CI/CD tooling, troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Salesforce security and sharing models.
• Experience designing and implementing integrations with REST and/or SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits, platform performance, security, and development best practices.
• Experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD, modern Salesforce DevOps practices, and Agile software development environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently own complex technical solutions with limited supervision.
• Experience participating in technical design and code reviews and collaborating across engineering, product, architecture, and business teams.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Administrator certification.
• Experience with Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, OmniStudio, or Omni-Channel capabilities.
• Experience with MuleSoft or comparable enterprise integration platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, Salesforce DX, Jenkins, or similar technologies.
• Experience with event-driven integrations, enterprise integration patterns, Salesforce security, monitoring, backup, or compliance technologies.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, retirement, wealth management, or another regulated environment.
• Previous experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to Salesforce developers.
