Senior Salesforce Developer (Salesforce)

Location: Remote in Canada; applicants must be based in British Columbia or Ontario. Core working hours overlap with US Eastern and Pacific time.

Base salary: CAD 116,600–163,300 for workers in Ontario and British Columbia, Canada. The role is also eligible for a company-wide bonus program.

What you will do

• Design and build Salesforce, CPQ, Revenue Cloud, and integration solutions for Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.
• Own projects from stakeholder discovery and requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and rollout.
• Evolve the Quote-to-Cash platform, simplify automation and tooling, and establish durable governance patterns.
• Design resilient integrations, investigate cross-system data issues, and implement retries, idempotency, error handling, and clear system-of-record boundaries.
• Build shared AI tooling for test generation, code review, and metadata analysis.
• Deploy and monitor changes through Gearset, review and mentor developers and admins, and participate in Scrum Master responsibilities.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development in a complex Sales Cloud organization.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications.
• Strong Apex, SOQL, Flow, and LWC skills, with sound judgment about when to use each.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce transaction processing, including order of execution, synchronous and asynchronous processing, bulkification, governor limits, and performance tuning in large-data-volume organizations.
• Strong Salesforce security knowledge, including CRUD, FLS, sharing, injection prevention, and named credentials.
• Hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience.
• Experience with source-driven delivery using SFDX, Git, pull requests, static analysis, automated testing, rollback planning, and a CI/CD tool such as Gearset or Copado.
• Experience with event-driven patterns such as Platform Events and Change Data Capture.
• Experience building and supporting failure-resistant integrations.
• Ability to run requirements sessions, manage timelines, write test plans, handle production issues, communicate technical tradeoffs clearly, and work within strong governance and peer-review practices.

Nice to have

• Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, and/or Platform App Builder certifications.
• Experience with identity provisioning or data warehouse integrations.
• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
