Project Manager (12-month Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Edinburgh, Sighthill North, UK; hybrid working requires at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site.

Salary: £61,344+ per year, dependent on experience.

What you will do

• Lead rectification and remediation change projects from idea through implementation, delivering against scope, cost, quality and timescales.
• Lead planning, governance and delivery across design, build, route to live and implementation, ensuring deliverables are signed off.
• Identify and escalate delivery risks, dependencies and upstream or downstream impacts.
• Build relationships across business areas, influence colleagues, resolve queries and ensure actions are completed.
• Facilitate Agile activities including Daily Stand-ups, Release Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospectives and Sprint Reviews.
• Coach and support colleagues, encouraging collaboration, learning and delivery excellence.

Requirements

• Experience working on Rectification & Remediation projects and strong understanding of the R&R lifecycle.
• Strong project management experience leading change from idea through implementation.
• Strong planning, governance and financial management skills, with delivery experience across scope, cost, quality and timescales.
• Experience working within change lifecycles and supporting governance requirements.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and good understanding of Agile ways of working.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills, with sound judgement in complex or challenging situations.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across colleagues and partners.
