Business Development Manager (Optical Sensor Technologies)

What you will do

• Develop and continuously refine product roadmaps for next-generation optical sensor and ranging technologies.
• Collaborate with key customers to understand needs and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
• Coordinate, guide, and streamline cross-functional technical development teams.
• Manage customer communications, escalations, and conflict resolution to maintain strong partnerships.
• Identify market opportunities and drive adoption of high-end optical sensor products.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Physics, Semiconductor Technology, Electronics, Optics, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Strong technical expertise and proven business acumen are mandatory.
• Professional experience in business development, product management, or technical sales; a business degree such as an MBA is relevant.
• Deep understanding of and hands-on experience with semiconductor physics and high-end optical sensor technologies, including LiDAR and time-of-flight/ranging technologies.
• Proven experience managing and streamlining technical or engineering teams in a fast-paced R&D or product development environment.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills for managing complex customer relationships and internal stakeholders.
