Mgr, Solutions Engineering (AI)

Location: Schiphol-Rijk, Netherlands, and Belgium; hybrid working environment with in-office and/or in-person expectations. Travel across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg is required as business priorities demand.

What you will do

• Lead, inspire, and develop a team of Solution Engineers across the Benelux region.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, drive new-account acquisition, and expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
• Translate customer priorities in data infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation, cyber resiliency, and AI into differentiated hirify.global solutions.
• Orchestrate technical sales engagements, involve the right specialists, and guide teams in documenting requirements, opportunities, objectives, and solution proposals.
• Build a high-performance culture through clear expectations, actionable feedback, rewards planning, talent development, succession planning, recruitment, and retention.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive technical leadership experience managing pre-sales engineers or senior technical teams in enterprise data infrastructure, hybrid cloud, storage, or SaaS environments.
• Proven success partnering with sales leadership to meet or exceed sales quotas and business targets.
• Experience hiring, building, and scaling diverse, high-performing technical teams within Northern Europe or Benelux.
• Deep expertise in unified enterprise storage architectures, including Block, File, Object, and all-flash systems.
• Expertise in public cloud and hybrid multicloud ecosystems, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of modern AI data infrastructure, AI pipelines, GPU acceleration, unstructured data management, enterprise data protection, disaster recovery, and ransomware/cyber-resiliency frameworks.
• Strong commercial acumen connecting technical capabilities to customer TCO, ROI, operational efficiency, and risk reduction.
• Full professional fluency in written and spoken English is required. Fluent Dutch and English are also specified for the role; French is strongly preferred for Benelux customer and partner engagements.
• Exceptional executive presentation, storytelling, negotiation, communication, influence, and relationship-building skills.
