Manager - Physical Security & Executive Protection

Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin, United States; ability to travel 50%, including domestic and international travel.

Pay range: $103,300.00–$177,700.00 annually.

What you will do

• Provide personal and business-related security for Transport executives and designees during company duties and travel.
• Assess event sites, create security plans, and execute perimeter, access-control, and identification procedures.
• Lead security protocols for major Transport events and manage third-party security vendors and contracts.
• Lead the TSA-approved Armed Security Officer program and maintain security system availability and facility access control.
• Lead global security initiatives and conduct business continuity, crisis management, workplace violence, and disaster preparedness planning.
• Assess threats, coordinate with law enforcement and federal agencies, close training gaps, and manage security budgets and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a relevant field.
• Eight or more years of experience in the field or a related area, including at least five years of full-time local, state, or federal law enforcement experience.
• Graduate of a state or federally accredited law enforcement academy.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA Armed Security Officer certification and a U.S. government security clearance throughout employment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to obtain a concealed-carry weapon permit or qualify to carry concealed under H.R. 218, the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004.
• Physical demands include frequent hearing, talking, typing, fine and manual dexterity, and repetitive upper-extremity motion; occasional climbing, driving, and bending or kneeling.

Nice to have

• Personal or senior executive protection experience.
• TSA Armed Security Officer certification.
• Medical responder experience and First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to de-escalate high-tension situations quickly and effectively.
• Active U.S. government security clearance.
