Sr. Manager Executive Protection (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Mountain View, California, United States; approximately 30% domestic and international travel, with 24/7 operational readiness for short-notice shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Expected base pay: $190,500–$257,500 annually in Mountain View, California; additional cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits may apply.

What you will do

• Set strategy, operating standards, governance, SOPs, and protective frameworks for executive security.
• Lead close-protection missions, secure tactical transport, site advances, threat assessments, and protective logistics for domestic and international travel.
• Integrate AI and machine learning into predictive threat intelligence, logistics, and protective operations.
• Manage specialized vendors, SLAs, KPIs, budgets, quality assurance, after-action reviews, and continuous program improvement.
• Build and direct protective teams and multi-agent details while partnering with Legal, HR, Corporate Communications, Facilities, Travel, Events, Chiefs of Staff, and Executive Assistants.
• Oversee TSCM programs, physical security technology, event security plans, geopolitical risk analysis, and actionable travel-safety briefs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in physical security, law enforcement, or military, plus 5+ years managing team strategy, operational performance, and security professionals.
• Proven experience executing complex international protective operations and understanding foreign threat dynamics and logistics.
• Experience within a corporate security framework supporting C-suite executives and liaising with government representatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, military or law-enforcement leadership, and professional experience.
• Experience building a security program from inception or scaling an existing enterprise program.
• Active California BSIS Security Guard Permit and BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit in good standing.
• Ability to obtain a California CCW permit, or active HR-218 / LEOSA credentials.
• Accredited Executive Protection training academy graduation; evasive or tactical driving certification; valid California Driver’s License; and clean driving record.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• Valid U.S. Passport with at least 9 months remaining validity and ability to meet all international entry requirements.
• Physical fitness and willingness to maintain 24/7 readiness and travel domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• TCCC or TECC certification.
