Director of Structured Finance

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Austin, TX, United States. Offer-stage candidates may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

Estimated annual salary: $206,000–$284,000 for Bay Area hires; $196,000–$270,000 for New York City hires. Compensation may vary by work location.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end financing workstreams for network and data center infrastructure, including equipment financing, leasing, vendor financing, and other structured solutions.
• Translate infrastructure requirements and capital expenditure plans into investable frameworks and materials for lenders, lessors, and financing counterparties.
• Negotiate transaction terms and represent hirify.global with external counterparties, assessing risk allocation, collateral, covenants, and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with Treasury on debt, convertible, and other structured transactions, capital structure, liquidity, and cost-of-capital analysis.
• Build financial models, transaction materials, internal financing playbooks, and decision support for the CFO, senior leadership, and Board.
• Manage post-close covenant compliance, reporting, counterparty relationships, and AI-enabled tools and workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across structured or project finance, infrastructure investing, private credit, equipment leasing, private equity, investment banking, and/or corporate capital markets.
• Experience leading complex financing transactions through close, including direct negotiation and documentation with external counterparties.
• Ability to independently run financing workstreams and represent the company with senior external counterparties.
• Deep structuring expertise in equipment finance, leasing and sale-leaseback, asset-backed and project finance, vendor financing, and debt or convertible capital markets.
• Advanced financial modeling, credit analysis, and transaction documentation skills, including familiarity with credit agreements and master lease agreements.
• Working knowledge of accounting and tax implications of financing structures and ability to partner with Accounting, Tax, and Legal.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, sound judgment with confidential information, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and high standards in a fast-moving environment.
• AI-native curiosity, fluency with modern AI tooling, and experience using it to increase impact.

Nice to have

• Experience in-house at a high-growth technology or infrastructure company.
• Sector background in data centers, digital infrastructure, telecom, cloud, or AI compute.
• Existing relationships with lenders, lessors, and infrastructure investors.
• MBA, CFA, or similar qualification.
