Vice President of Finance (Digital Assets)

Location: New York City, United States; on-site. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City.

Salary: $300,000–$330,000 annually, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead the global finance organization and partner with the CEO and COO on long-range financial planning.
• Upgrade executive and Board reporting across weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance drivers.
• Own FP&A, including forecasting, budgeting, unit economics, and scenario modeling across SaaS, data services, and trading volumes.
• Modernize finance systems and workflows for AR, AP, billing, collections, cash management, and revenue recognition using automation and AI.
• Oversee global accounting, tax, statutory reporting, controls, transfer pricing, and governance across US, UK, Europe, APAC, LatAm, and offshore entities.
• Support capital allocation, fundraising, M&A, external relationships, and the growth of a finance team of six plus outsourced partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years leading a global finance and accounting function as VP, Head of Finance, or CFO.
• Experience in high-growth, founder-led technology companies.
• Strong enterprise SaaS fluency, including ARR, NDR, cohort retention, and pricing, plus capital markets or trading technology knowledge.
• Superior FP&A and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business guidance.
• Technical accounting expertise in revenue recognition, multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation, and Big Four audit management.
• International experience across the US and Europe, ideally APAC, including cross-border tax and treasury.
• Track record modernizing finance operations through systems, automation, or AI.
• Hands-on approach, comfort with ambiguity, and credibility with founders, investors, and technical leaders.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City.
