Software Developer, Senior (SQL Server)

Location: Onsite in the Quantico, Virginia office; US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance required.

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software.
• Troubleshoot software applications and resolve systems integration and compatibility issues.
• Support software testing, including development of automated test scripts with automation tools.
• Work with stakeholders to support IT systems, applications, and operational technologies.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvements that increase team efficiency and technical execution.
• Contribute to program deliverables and performance metrics.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or additional relevant experience.
• Experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 or later, including T-SQL stored procedures and views.
• Familiarity with writing unit tests and understanding their role in a Continuous Integration environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail, highly developed critical-thinking skills, and solid troubleshooting ability.
