Senior Editor, Physical Therapy and Allied Health Transcript (Physical Therapy and Allied Health)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Salary: $55,000–$128,700 annually, with base pay varying by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Set the strategic direction for the Physical Therapy and Allied Health portfolio.
• Own a portfolio of established print and digital titles and new product initiatives.
• Build relationships with educators, clinicians, authors, and professional organizations to identify market trends and customer needs.
• Acquire new content, products, and partnerships to support portfolio growth.
• Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams on positioning, customer engagement, and portfolio performance.
• Create revision plans for 15–20 core titles, including 2–3-year revision cycles, and develop new projects based on market demand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5–7+ years of experience in editorial content development and acquisitions, preferably in medical publishing.
• Demonstrated expertise in digital content development and product management.
• Experience managing high-profile author teams and leading product development initiatives involving analysis, strategic planning, and execution.
• Strong business negotiation, partner management, contract negotiation, and implementation skills.
• Excellent project management skills, including cross-functional collaboration and management of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Advanced digital capabilities, including proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com.
