Senior E2E Product Designer (AI)

What you will do

• Own product problems end-to-end, from discovery and problem framing through design, delivery, and iteration.
• Design clear, scalable, high-quality flows, systems, interfaces, and product experiences.
• Research educators, school staff, and internal teams through interviews, observation, data, and product usage.
• Prototype and validate ideas quickly using interactive prototypes, lightweight builds, live experiments, and AI-assisted tools.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers, increasingly contributing to implementation and production code.
• Mentor designers, share learning, shape the evolving design system, and help improve how design works at Zen.

Requirements

• Senior-level product design experience with ownership across the full product lifecycle.
• Ability to work across service, system, interaction, and interface design.
• Strong user-research, synthesis, problem-framing, validation, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to create fast feedback loops through conversations, prototypes, and live experiments.
• Motivation to take ideas beyond static design into real, shipped product experiences.
• Ability to collaborate deeply with engineers and PMs and contribute to implementation where appropriate.
• Ability to balance speed and quality, ship early, iterate often, and communicate learning clearly.

Nice to have

• Technical fluency and interest in prototyping with code or shaping production code using tools such as Claude.
• Experience with AI-assisted design or product-building tools such as Lovable.

Hiring process

• Design task session based on a real product problem; the process aims to move from application to offer within approximately two weeks.
