Senior Project Manager, IT

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay, 25th Floor. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

hirify.global is a relationship-oriented bank delivering core banking, payment technology, and other financial services for clients and business partners.

What you will do

• Lead complex technology initiatives from planning through execution across core banking and payment technology.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, resource plans, goals, and terms of reference.
• Coordinate business stakeholders, technology partners, and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor milestones, project finances, schedules, risks, issues, and deliverables; develop mitigation plans.
• Support informed decisions, negotiate deliverables and milestones, chair meetings, and build consensus.
• Improve project practices and coach or mentor colleagues and teams through change.

Requirements

• At least five years of project management experience, ideally in the financial services or technology industry, including cross-portfolio projects in a matrix environment.
• Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies and knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with project management and issue management tools such as Planview, ServiceNow, and JIRA.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Ability to assess project practices, manage schedules and budgets, identify risks, and balance budget, time, and risk.
• Strong collaboration, communication, influencing, relationship-building, leadership, and change-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to new tools and trends, support inclusive teamwork, and build trusted relationships with business and technology stakeholders.

• PMP designation.
• Extensive experience, training, and mentoring experience for leadership responsibilities.
