Senior Full Stack Web/Mobile Application Engineer (AI)

Location: United States; fully remote

Salary: $95,000–$140,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Build new applications, websites, and features using Next.js, React, React Native, Node.js, Laravel, and related technologies.
• Plan and implement features with AI agents through a spec-driven process, review generated code, and help establish AI development standards.
• Act as Technical Lead, partnering with the project manager on development leadership, scope, estimates, budget, and project financial success.
• Guide engineers, make architectural decisions, maintain code quality, and serve as an escalation point.
• Plan application architecture and work on database modeling, query optimization, logging, monitoring, and other advanced application requirements.
• Work directly with clients and project managers on requirements, technical trade-offs, specifications, decisions, status updates, and demos.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a technical role and with agency experience.
• Full-stack experience with a range of frontend and backend tools, technologies, and surrounding ecosystems.
• Experience building and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, including third-party APIs.
• Hands-on experience using AI agents for planning and development in a production codebase, including reviewing output before release.
• Experience leading a development team or acting as a technical lead, including partnering with a project manager on scope, estimates, and budget.
• Comfort communicating directly with clients about requirements, technical trade-offs, and project status.
• Experience building application user experiences, understanding user behavior and intent, and using those insights to create intuitive apps and websites.
• Knowledge and experience with Git and GitHub.
