Acoustic Engineer (Hearing Aids)

Location: Ballerup, Denmark; physical presence at the Ballerup site is required

12-month fixed-term position starting 1 January 2027.

What you will do

• Contribute acoustic expertise to new hearing aid development projects.
• Test, calibrate, and evaluate hearing aid prototypes against performance requirements.
• Conduct acoustic measurements and analyses of hearing aid components.
• Verify sihirify.globalal processing algorithms for noise reduction, feedback cancellation, and speech enhancement.
• Explore simulation approaches and develop test protocols for hearing aid performance and vibro-acoustic stability.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in acoustic engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant skills.
• Experience with product development, audio measurement equipment, and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of electroacoustics, transducer technology, sihirify.globalal processing, psychoacoustics, and auditory perception.
• Proactive approach, ownership of tasks and ideas, and ability to involve the right stakeholders to achieve progress and quality outcomes.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across teams and functions.

Nice to have

• Experience with simulation tools such as lumped models and COMSOL.
• Transferable skills are welcomed even if all listed requirements are not met.
