Senior Equipment Engineer, Capability Building (Manufacturing)

Location: Billund, Denmark. Hybrid work may be available from home up to two days per week, depending on the role and team. Relocation support is not offered.

What you will do

• Develop fully automated processing equipment for decorating, pre-assembling and coating hirify.global bricks.
• Translate business needs into robust solutions involving robotics, vision, feeding and product transport systems.
• Take equipment from early concepts through detailed design, testing, validation and implementation.
• Balance performance, safety, quality and maintainability in equipment solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, equipment engineers, platform owners, production sites, procurement, technical specialists and external suppliers.
• Support the development of scalable manufacturing platforms using automation, robotics and digital technologies.

Requirements

• Experience developing fully automated, high-speed and high-precision manufacturing equipment from early concepts through detailed design and implementation.
• Proficiency in mechanical design using CAD tools and technical document management systems such as Siemens NX and Teamcenter or similar.
• Ability to contribute to technical decisions, planning and structured problem solving.
• Experience with testing, validation and systematic problem solving.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with others toward shared success.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• Insight into Industry 4.0, including digital twins and simulations.
• Advanced experience with robotics, vision, feeding and product transport systems.
