PCB Designer (Hearing Devices)

Location: Ballerup, Denmark, with flexible hybrid work and in-person collaboration when needed

GN develops intelligent hearing, audio, video, and gaming solutions; this role supports advanced hearing devices within the Electronic Integration group at the Ballerup headquarters.

What you will do

• Design schematics and PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture.
• Develop PCB solutions from concept and prototyping through production release.
• Review designs and create test verification to identify and resolve issues early.
• Work with mechanical design, electroacoustics, software, radio systems, production, and cross-functional project teams.
• Collaborate with the production unit in Præstø to ensure manufacturability.
• Create PCB documentation and participate in sourcing and qualifying PCB suppliers.

Requirements

• Relevant degree, such as a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering.
• Experience with PCB design and an interest in continuing to develop PCB skills in a product development environment.
• Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro, OrCAD Capture, or Capture CIS Database, or willingness to learn the relevant tools.
• Ability to work closely with others to create quality outcomes.
• Proficient English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCB manufacturing, assembly processes, and IPC standards.
