Quality Manager (Biotech)

Location: Cambridge, England, United Kingdom; based at Melbourn Science Park, approximately 10 miles south of Cambridge.

What you will do

• Own and continually improve the Quality Management System while maintaining ISO 9001 standards.
• Support quality across system development, manufacturing, verification, deployment and customer handover.
• Work with customers on quality and regulatory requirements and support customer audits.
• Manage supplier quality through audits, issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Lead quality investigations, non-conformance management, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Embed practical quality processes and provide training, guidance and mentoring across engineering, manufacturing and delivery.

Requirements

• STEM degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Quality management experience in a technical development and manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting the manufacture, verification, commissioning or delivery of complex systems to customers.
• Strong knowledge of QMS management and ISO 9001 standards.
• Understanding of quality and regulatory requirements in regulated manufacturing environments, including awareness of GMP.
• Experience managing customer and supplier audits, non-conformances and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and support teams.
• Pragmatic, hands-on approach to quality and the ability to balance technical, customer and commercial priorities.
