Bid and Proposal Manager (Insurance)

Location: Remote, UK based; candidates must reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Lead pursuit strategy, proposal storyboarding, message-map development, executive-summary support, and consistent messaging across proposal deliverables.
• Coordinate Sales, Delivery, product management, legal, pricing, SMEs, and other stakeholders to gather and develop proposal inputs.
• Manage RFI and RFP responses, including bid planning, governance, compliance with evaluation criteria, production schedules, and deadline tracking.
• Lead proposal content creation, editing, design, graphics, quality reviews, packaging, and final document production.
• Research client organisations, their communication styles, priorities, and “hot buttons,” then coach contributors on client-oriented messaging.
• Use relevant AI packages to produce content from existing collateral in text and graphical formats.

Requirements

• University degree or similar qualification.
• Excellent written English and good spoken English.
• Several years of experience writing commercial or proposal documents, or in a similar writing capacity.
• Experience managing and delivering proposals within large pursuit teams and coordinating on-time content from multiple authors.
• General understanding of the technicalities behind described solutions, or the ability to rapidly understand technical solutions and describe them accurately.
• Must reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
