Technical Deployment Lead (AI)

Location: Munich, Germany. Hybrid policy: staff must be in one of the company’s offices at least 25% of the time. Travel to customer sites of up to 25–50% is expected.

What you will do

• Own technical delivery plans from signed SOW through sequenced roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, success criteria, and value hypotheses.
• Lead discovery by mapping customer workflows and constraints, validating MVP scope, and shaping solution architecture with Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Drive day-to-day execution across Anthropic and customer teams, including backlog prioritization, scope management, sprint ceremonies, milestone reviews, and delivery reporting.
• Lead customer relationships, executive briefings, stakeholder communications, and technical discussions with engineering, procurement, and senior business leaders.
• Define impact hypotheses, baselines, KPIs, and pre- and post-deployment ROI measurement.
• Develop reusable delivery patterns while navigating security reviews, legal approvals, procurement, compliance requirements, organizational dynamics, and contract changes.

Requirements

• Experience leading AI/ML engagements or deployments in a founder, data science, engineering, research, professional services, or consulting capacity.
• Experience delivering AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions into production, including solution patterns and integration approaches.
• Ability to navigate architecture discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and pressure-test technical decisions; production coding is not required.
• Track record delivering complex, high-stakes technical projects for enterprise clients through tight coordination and fast decision-making, ideally across multiple workstreams in regulated industries.
• Experience in a specialized vertical such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, retail, mining, or agriculture.
• Executive presence and ability to represent Anthropic credibly with senior leaders in high-stakes environments.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguity, create structure, and build a new function.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a field relevant to the role, demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
