Company

hirify.global is backing a stealth-mode AI venture building a field service intelligence platform for technicians, developed with a leading European real estate industry partner and tested on real jobs.

What you will do

• Own technology end to end, including architecture, roadmap, build-versus-buy decisions, reliability, and security.
• Take the tested MVP to a production-grade product used daily by field technicians and build reliable integrations with customer work-order and asset data.
• Improve the machine learning core through retrieval over manufacturer and expert knowledge, multimodal inputs such as photos and voice, and diagnostic reasoning.
• Design the learning engine that captures, reviews, evaluates, and reuses confirmed outcomes from every visit.
• Set up evaluation, safety, monitoring, expert-reviewed benchmarks, grounding, escalation, and regression testing.
• Build technician-focused UX/UI, work directly with technicians in the field, recruit and lead engineering, and shape strategy, culture, and investor conversations as a co-founder.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning/AI, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Ideally 3+ years of machine learning experience applied to production products, including areas such as LLMs, retrieval/RAG, NLP, computer vision, or model evaluation.
• Experience leading the technical build of a product from zero to one, such as as a tech lead or founding engineer.
• Strong hands-on software engineering across backend, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud; you must continue to build and ship yourself.
• Sound technical judgment about the limits of LLMs, how to test them, and when not to use them.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, full ownership, bias for action, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Product empathy and willingness to learn from users in the field and simplify complex work.
• Fluent German and English required; German is needed for working with technicians and technical source material.

Nice to have

• PhD in Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Information Retrieval, or a related field.
• Previous founder or early-stage startup experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and enterprise B2B requirements, including security, GDPR, and multi-tenant SaaS.
• Background in field service, industrial, maintenance, or proptech software.
• Experience with multimodal AI, voice interfaces, or decision-support systems.
• Experience hiring and leading engineering teams.
