AI Engineering Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Own the target architecture for hirify.global’s AI technology and guide the transition from early-stage solutions to reliable, scalable production systems.
• Lead and develop a three-person AI functional team, setting technical direction, priorities, and development paths.
• Identify opportunities for AI to create customer and business value across the product ecosystem.
• Define engineering standards for validation, reliability, observability, testing, security, documentation, and controlled releases.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Data Operations, and selected business teams to deliver high-value AI initiatives.
• Balance architectural depth with pragmatic delivery and make technical trade-offs in a scale-up environment.

Requirements

• Excellent academic background in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong experience taking AI/ML systems from prototype to reliable, scalable production.
• Excellent architectural judgment and the ability to make clear, pragmatic technical trade-offs.
• Experience leading a specialist team while remaining technically credible and hands-on.
• High engineering standards across testing, observability, security, and release quality.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to turn complex AI topics into clear decisions across technical and business teams.
