Senior Associate, Forensic Accountant

Location: New York, NY, United States of America; hybrid work

Salary: $90,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Review and analyze P&L statements, accounting ledgers, financial records, and operational data.
• Design and develop financial, damages, and database models using Excel.
• Perform data analytics on large volumes of disparate datasets.
• Prepare and audit quantitative and qualitative work product for quality and accuracy.
• Conduct industry and market research, summarize findings, and develop action plans.
• Prepare damages analyses, demonstratives, expert witness testimony, reports, and insurance claim documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience at an accounting or consulting firm in auditing, financial analysis, or insurance.
• Big Four auditing or advisory experience is highly preferred.
• CPA certification or current progress toward CPA is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude to improve research, data analysis, content development, and workflow efficiency.
• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
