Senior Software Engineer (Crypto Media)

What you will do

• Own features end to end, from scoping with product and design through deployment and production monitoring.
• Architect and ship functionality across the web platform, mobile applications, and high-availability services layer.
• Build with Next.js, React 19, TypeScript, and modern runtime services while using AI tools and identifying internal tooling opportunities.
• Collaborate directly with product managers, UX designers, and editorial stakeholders.
• Implement secure, fault-tolerant, performant systems with progressive rollouts, feature flags, automated CI/CD, and observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of shipping production-grade software.
• Deep hands-on experience with Next.js, React, Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and content management platforms.
• Advanced expertise in server-side rendering, caching patterns, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Playwright and Maestro.
• Practical experience managing CI/CD pipelines, applying security best practices, and integrating Auth0 across client and server boundaries.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate product vision into maintainable technical solutions with non-engineering stakeholders.
• Ability to improve existing systems, reduce technical friction, and scale codebases sustainably.

Nice to have

• Experience building or maintaining mobile applications with React Native and Expo.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity and structured content workflows at scale.
• Experience integrating Google Ad Manager, Stripe, Amplitude, or HubSpot.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, GCP Cloud Functions, and Terraform.
• Experience with Bun, Elysia, or Redis.
