Senior Software Engineer (AI/Web3)

What you will do

• Own features across the full product lifecycle, from scoping with product and design through deployment and production monitoring.
• Architect and ship functionality across the web platform, mobile applications, and services layer using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern runtime services.
• Use AI tools including Claude Code, Open Code, and open-source models, and identify opportunities for internal workflow tooling.
• Collaborate directly with product managers, UX designers, and editorial stakeholders to turn concepts into production software.
• Implement progressive rollouts with feature flags such as LaunchDarkly, automated CI/CD, observability, and secure, fault-tolerant releases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping production-grade software.
• Deep hands-on experience with Next.js, React, Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and content management platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of server-side rendering, modern caching patterns, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Experience implementing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing with Playwright and Maestro.
• Practical experience managing CI/CD pipelines and embedding security best practices, including secure identity systems such as Auth0 across client and server boundaries.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate directly with non-engineering stakeholders.
• Ability to improve existing systems, reduce technical friction, and build maintainable software at scale.

Nice to have

• Experience building or maintaining mobile applications with React Native and Expo.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity and structured content workflows at scale.
• Experience integrating Google Ad Manager, Stripe, Amplitude, or HubSpot.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, GCP Cloud Functions, and Terraform.
• Experience with Bun, Elysia, or Redis.
