Data Governance Analyst (Collibra)

What you will do

• Support data governance processes covering data quality, data lineage, metadata management, and business glossary development.
• Define data domains, glossary terms, and data element definitions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Document end-to-end lineage, design data quality rules and scorecards, investigate issues, and coordinate remediation.
• Configure and administer Collibra Data Governance Center, including workflows, asset models, domains, communities, roles, and permissions.
• Configure Collibra Data Quality & Observability integrations and connect Collibra with Databricks, Snowflake, ETL/ELT pipelines, and other metadata providers.
• Engage with capital markets clients, prepare governance documentation and training materials, and support discovery workshops, proposals, and client presentations.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data quality, including direct experience in capital markets or broader financial services.
• SME-level hands-on experience configuring and administering Collibra Data Governance Center, including workflows, asset models, and Data Quality & Observability.
• Strong knowledge of data quality frameworks, metadata management, business glossary development, and data lineage documentation.
• Familiarity with capital markets data such as trade, position, reference/security master, counterparty, and risk data, plus related regulatory drivers.
• Experience partnering with data owners, stewards, and technology teams to operationalize governance processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical governance concepts in business-outcome language for client stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Collibra certifications such as Collibra Ranger or Collibra Certified Data Steward/Admin.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Dataiku, and their integration with Collibra for automated lineage and metadata capture.
• Exposure to BCBS 239, CCAR, SR 11-7, MiFID II, or similar regulatory data programs.
• Consulting or professional services experience supporting enterprise clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Data/Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
