Equipment Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Kaohsiung City, Taiwan; onsite

What you will do

• Manage product and technology transfer projects to Taiwan, including equipment installation, maintenance, and new tool-set deployment.
• Maintain safe and reliable manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiency, yield, cost, quality, uptime, and utilization.
• Identify equipment performance issues, implement solutions within change-control requirements, and drive defect reduction.
• Develop, document, and maintain preventive maintenance, LOTO, OCAP, equipment specifications, work instructions, records, and performance metrics.
• Lead capital projects within budget and schedule, ensure spare parts and consumables availability, and identify hardware capability enhancements.
• Train maintenance personnel and collaborate with teams across organizational levels and functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience.
• Ability to drive teams and projects toward world-class performance, recognize risks, develop mitigation plans, and influence positive change.
• Professionalism, integrity, accountability, and the ability to collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels and across functional groups.

Nice to have

• Experience with CNC equipment, blending equipment, lamination equipment, or manufacturing equipment with programmable user interfaces.
• Capital project management experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with SAP.
