Data Governance Specialist (m/f/d) Sales & Commercial Data (SAP)

Location: Remscheid, Germany; full-time, permanent position.

What you will do

• Support the implementation of data governance standards and definitions for sales-related master data across countries and functions.
• Coordinate data preparation, validation, cleansing, and migration with local stakeholders.
• Develop and continuously improve sales data processes, standards, and documentation.
• Monitor data quality, identify improvement opportunities, and support sustainable solutions for business-critical data.
• Act as an interface between business and Information Technology to resolve data challenges and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Maintain data definitions, metadata, and documentation in the data catalog and contribute to global data management initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of full-time professional experience in data management, sales operations, data governance, business processes, or a related area within an international company.
• Hands-on experience with SAP master data, sales processes, and the order-to-cash process is required.
• Solid understanding of sales and commercial processes and familiarity with end-to-end process landscapes, ideally including order-to-cash.
• University degree, preferably a Master's degree, in Business Administration, Data Management, or a comparable field.
• Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple topics and communicate confidently with different stakeholders.
• Fluent English and willingness to work in an international environment.
