Data Analytics Engineer (f/m/d) (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own analytics data products end-to-end, from business requirements through tested, documented, and production-ready transformation logic.
• Design layered data models using medallion architecture and dimensional modeling.
• Define and standardize KPIs with global factories and business functions.
• Implement data quality checks, governance practices, maintainability standards, testing, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Owners, and domain experts on the Factory Data Cloud and industrial digitalization.

Requirements

• University degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data and Process Management, or a comparable discipline.
• Many years of hands-on experience developing and operating analytics or data warehouse models in production environments, including dbt and Snowflake.
• Strong expertise in dimensional modeling, medallion architecture, advanced SQL, dbt, and Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, testing, data quality, data governance, and CI/CD pipelines for analytics.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and Industrial IoT data, KPI definition and standardization, and strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Fluent English and good German.

• dbt Certified Developer certification.
• Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification.
