Senior Specialist, Market Planning

Location: Must be based in Berlin or Helsinki and able to work in a hybrid model from a hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Develop and refine a global courier supply planning model that accounts for local holidays, special events, and differences between large and small cities.
• Optimize supply-lever allocation by translating regional and country budgets into market-level plans.
• Design market tests and causal analyses with local teams and analytics, and incorporate findings into future plans.
• Build tools that improve the use and effectiveness of supply levers against targets.
• Investigate performance issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions and improved planning approaches.
• Partner with regional supply leads, local operations, finance, procurement, product, analytics, and courier marketing teams to roll out improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in consulting, operations, analytics, or strategic business development in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills with a structured, pragmatic approach to complex problems.
• Experience designing and interpreting tests or causal analyses in a marketplace setting.
• Ability to assess trade-offs between supply levers and their effects on cost, courier experience, and customer experience.
• Comfort making and defending recommendations with incomplete data and adapting when facts change.
• Proficiency in SQL, Looker, and Excel or Google Sheets modelling.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage local and global stakeholder relationships.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Must be based in Berlin or Helsinki and able to work in a hybrid model from a hirify.global office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Cursor, or Claude Code.
