Certification Engineer (Enclosure Systems)

Location: Telford, United Kingdom; the position is based in West Midlands/Telford.

What you will do

• Define and implement certification strategies for new products and existing product portfolios.
• Manage product certification projects from planning through approval and maintenance.
• Monitor standards, regulations, and certification requirements and assess their impact on products.
• Coordinate testing with validation laboratories and support certification assessments.
• Conduct compliance and risk analyses to ensure product safety and regulatory conformity.
• Prepare certification dossiers and technical documentation while collaborating with engineering, quality, and product management teams on worldwide market access.

Requirements

• Engineering or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Initial experience in product certification, product compliance, testing, validation, or quality engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical products, standards, and conformity assessment processes.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and translate regulatory changes into product impacts.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach.
• Fluent English required.
